Meet the Founder

Whitney J. Dumeng, Esq.

Founding Attorney

Whitney is an experienced corporate attorney who practiced at the New York headquarters of Cleary Gottlieb and Fried Frank before launching her own practice. She founded the firm to serve as an ongoing strategic partner to businesses, organizations, and brand collaborators seeking sophisticated legal expertise, practical judgment, and disciplined execution — each aligned with their scope, strategy, and budget.

Whitney’s practice focuses on advising companies on operational commitments and strategic initiatives. She advises clients on structuring and negotiating the agreements that drive revenue, maintain supply chain stability, and protect key business relationships. Her work emphasizes operational stability, resilience and growth.

In addition to commercial advisory work, Whitney has substantial experience in corporate governance, advising boards and leadership teams on fiduciary duties, internal decision-making frameworks, and governance practices that support operations and strategies. She regularly supports director and execution officer level matters in the ordinary course of business, reinforcing accountability and strategic alignment.

Whitney also advises on licensing, strategic brand collaborations and sponsorship agreements, supporting companies, performing arts organizations, and brand partners in expanding their market presence while safeguarding their commercial interests. Her experience with creative and mission-driven institutions informs a practical, institutionally aware approach to governance and commercial partnerships.

Through her practice, she brings Big Law training, experience on critical high-stakes time-sensitive matters, legal project management experience, and a client-centered approach to businesses that value both sophistication and accessibility in their legal counsel.

Whitney remains deeply committed to service, routinely engaging in pro bono initiatives and mentoring junior lawyers and law students.
